Streetcar discussion tonight at Downtown library

Tonight, representatives from COAST and Cincinnatians for Progress will be part of a discussion on the Cincinnati Streetcar proposal. The event is part of the Downtown Residents Council’s monthly community meeting, which will take place at the main branch of the Public Library at 800 Vine Street. The meeting starts at 6:00 pm and will be held in the Tower Room on the library’s third floor.

gah, wish I could go. Will anyone record this discussion?

I heard things didn't go well for COAST earlier tonight.

Randy, I think that's great. COAST is rejecting the streetcar idea but doesn't have anything to replace it with but the status quo -- which I think all Cincinnatians can agree isn't that great.

The more coast talked, the uglier it got for him. I think he expected everyone to get upset and make his case, but they didn't. It was awesome, they kept selling him rope until he hung himself.
Very unprepared, I'm sure this is the first group that didn't cheer each bullet point.

Now I am even more upset that I missed this discussion. If anyone recorded this I might just pay to see it. Im sure it will be up on COAST's blog shortly though!
