Kenwood/Other top holiday shopping destinations - Reader's Choice

For some reason when I created this poll I thought that Kenwood would be a runaway winner, and it was kind of. But the 'Other' category actually registered the most votes. So I'm wondering, if you voted 'Other' where is it you did most of your holiday shopping?

Did you go Downtown for most of your needs, random stores here and there, or did you even do most of it online? I guess looking back I could have structured the poll a little better, but by the time complaints started rolling in about not listing Downtown as an option it was too late. I would have lost all of the results that had been recorded up until that time.

So let me have it, and share where you did your holiday shopping...and most importantly why.

Where else? Online.
I could order everything while also continually getting distracted by all the awesome Cincinnati blogs out there.
Happy New Years and a prosperous blogosphere to all.

I did all of my holiday shopping Downtown and OTR. Park and Vine, Mica 12v, MetroNation, CityCellars, Macy's. Pretty much all you need.

I actually did most of my shopping at Rookwood, with some of the rest coming from Downtown/OTR.

I really should have included Downtown/OTR as an option, and even online...I don't know what I was thinking.

Put me down for an "online" other too... I used sites like to find good bargains and started my shopping way earlier than I have in years past.

I shopped in OTR and CBD, mostly, with a bit of online and mall shopping thrown in.

I definitely think your surveys could use improvement. For instance, your current living survey lumps OTR and CBD together when A. they are two different neighborhoods, and B. I think people consider them to be quite distinct, though they are adjacent. You'll get more telling results with more specificity.

The point of the most recent survey is not for exact specificity (as none of them really are). Yes OTR and Downtown are different...just as Hyde Park and Oakley are...but for the sake of space and clarity I grouped them together. I could have gone as far as saying 'The Basin' or even 'Center City'. By the end of the survey you should still be able to get a good idea of what people think...and that is the ultimate point.
